Wasting no time in following up their recent smash collaborations ‘Clap Your Hands’ with W&W and Fedde Le Grand and ‘Raver Dome’ as 3 Are Legend alongside Steve Aoki, Justin Prime & Sandro Silva, the latest team up sees the Belgian brothers unite with psytrance heavyweights Vini Vici for ‘Get In Trouble (So What)’.
The coming together of these musical juggernauts is as heavy as you’d expecting, combining both duos extensive knowledge in music production and ear for a hit to great effect, utilising a standout sample that elevates the track skywards.
A fighting chant builds towards the fast paced drop and sets the tone from the start, as clever use of LFO on a synth cranks up towards the first breakdown, which introduces the iconic vocal that is sure to whip fans into a frenzy. This is carried into the main break, where the familiar guitar lead joins the vocals before switching up to accommodate a high pitched lead that continues into the beat.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Vini Vici have a strong history of partnership, with the latter’s premier psytrance label Alteza working under the Smash The House umbrella, and that synergy is on show with ‘Get In Trouble (So What)‘, which follows on from previous heavy hitting collaborations such as ‘Untz Untz‘ and ‘The House Of House‘.
Both acts continue to reign supreme in their respective worlds, and their latest work together once again highlights the familiarity in the studio, and the ability to fuse both sounds into an unforgettable anthem that is set to be one of the standout releases of the year.
R3HAB explores uncharted sonic territory on “Bésame (I Need You),” his sultry new collaboration with singer/actress TINI and Latin GRAMMY-winning Latin Pop trio Reik.
We quickly find out what happens when three powerhouses of this magnitude come together, as the track subtly fuses exquisite elements of each one’s signature sound.
R3HAB delivers his deep, driving drum bass lines that serve as the backbone of the song, asking listeners to get up and dance, while Reik‘s influence plays with Latin-infused melodies that give “Bésame (I Need You)” exotic appeal. Platinum-certified TINI and Reik come together for a female/male vocal group, evoking images of a balmy and enthralling night out dancing. The single is out now on Hollywood Records and follows R3HAB‘s releases “Feel Alive” for “SCOOB!” movie’s soundtrack as well as “Be Okay” with HRVY.
“Right after we started working on the song, it was clear what the sound of the track will be like. Tini & Reik brought the perfect energy, which you can hear throughout the entire song. “Besame (I Need You)” is being released right in time to provide these necessary summer vibes to our fans.” – R3HAB
“I am so excited to work with Reik and Rehab. I find it very interesting to explore new musical styles, and Bésame definitely has a special sound, distinctive from other songs. I feel very honored to collaborate with these two great artists.” – TINI
“We love the song. It’s super energetic, it makes one dance and have fun all the time. It’s one of those songs that you really just wanna jump to. Looking back, we remember meeting TINI at a concert in Argentina when she was 15, or so.
It’s crazy now having the song together with her. About R3HAB, we just recently met him, and we love what he does. He already remixed our earlier single “Si Me Dices Que Si,” and it blew our mind, as he took the song to another dimension. Collaborating with R3HAB again is awesome” – Reik
“Tonight” is Chebo’s latest French House release that is set to rule your summer. The release fuses organic and electronic elements to create a chart-worthy track.
“Tonight” features a groovy, organic bassline that resonates throughout the entirety of the track. Laying on top are the atmospheric horns and the powerful vocal. The groovy beat ties all the elements together, making it a track that will get any dancefloor dancing.
“Tonight” blends nostalgic house elements with a modern sound that will captivate people. The release will take any listener onto a feel-good musical journey.
Moreover, the release will fit perfectly onto any playlist as it works well in a party, pool-side, or casual setting. Chebo proves with “Tonight” why he is the next artist to take the music scene by storm.
Rising DJ and producer Mathieu Cetta returns with his newest anthemic, summer-vibes house single ‘Obsession’, released through Electric Friends.
The electronic release is driven by a refreshing piano progression. The drop delivers infectious vocal chops and a speaker-rattling deep house bassline.
To glue ‘Obsession’ together is the soothing and atmospheric vocal. ‘Obsession’ will mesmerize the listeners with its feel-good instrumentation. Moreover, the single gives the audience a motivating feeling through the vocals and upbeat production.
Mathieu Cetta Obsession
The catchy melodic elements with the vocal and driving bassline will get any listener grooving and in a good mood. With two weeks at #1 on Traxsource, ‘Obsession’ will serve as the soundtrack to your summer.
Q-dance, founder of the hardstyle sound and organizer of the most popular hardstyle events worldwide, has announced today that the largest dance event in the Netherlands will get an online edition this year.
The organization is organizing the three-day online experience ‘Defqon.1 at Home‘ especially for its fans. All the beloved elements of the festival will return on this ultimate online Defqon.1 event, and it will feature over 80 artists in various locations. Defqon.1at Home takes place from June 26th to 28th and can be experienced from the living room by every fan worldwide.
Program & line-up
Q-dance wants to connect fans in these difficult times by bringing the signature Defqon.1 feeling to people’s homes in the last weekend of June. The festival weekend promises to be a true spectacle with energetic performances by the most famous artists from the harder styles. Every major part of the popular dance event makes its appearance during the three-day online festival.
Defqon.1 at Home
The weekend traditionally starts with The Gathering, fans can go from left to right in their living room during POWER HOUR: Six years of Insanity, and Defqon.1 wouldn’t be Defqon.1 if it didn’t end with a special endshow called The Closing Ceremony.
For the first time ever, fans will also be able to participate in The Q-dance Quiz: A live, interactive show element where fans around the world can compete against each other and test their knowledge within three themes, namely The Ultimate Hardstyle Quiz, The Defqon.1 Weekend Warriors Quiz and The Legendary 20 Years of Q-dance Quiz. Participants will have the chance to win legendary prizes.
To unite hardstyle fans all over the world, Q-dance created a special anthem moment on Saturday night. All weekend warriors will play this year’s anthem at the same time on maximum volume to make sure hardstyle is heard.
A special weekend full of emotions
While Defqon.1 in 2019 was the busiest edition ever with 78,000 people, this year, for the first time in 18 years, there won’t be a physical edition of the festival. Nevertheless, Q-dance is doing everything to make it a special weekend:
“The world is turned upside down. We live in a bizarre time in which our industry has been hit hard. This applies not only to our organization and the people who work there but also to the hundreds of creatives and artists with whom we organize our beautiful events every year. That’s why we’ve pulled out all the stops to make it a special weekend this year, together with our fans from all over the world“, said Jonas Schmidt, Creative Director Defqon.1.
Positive development
Q-dance is no stranger to live streaming. Not only were major festivals always broadcast live for those who stayed home, a couple of months ago the organizer also launched Qonnect. A new concept that’s viewed by an average of one to two and a half million fans per broadcast worldwide. Q-dance wants to continue this positive development with this special edition of Defqon.1at Home.
Defqon.1 at Home takes place on June 26th, 27nd, and 28th and can be viewed live on Q-dance.com. More information about the program and line-up will be announced soon on Q-dance’s social media channels and the official website.
Lifelike & Kris Menace’s ‘Discopolis’ is about as evergreen as a dance record can get. Originally released in 2005 (and re-released as ‘Discopolis 2.0’ in 2015), the world-renowned Ibiza anthem was picked up by BBC Radio 1 figurehead Pete Tong, breached into the Top 100 of the U.K. Singles chart and sold over 30.000 vinyls, cementing its status as a staple House track for decades to come.
And now, fifteen years later, global superstars and leading tastemakers MEDUZA up the ante with a huge remix that’s set to create the same shockwaves in the scene that it did back then.
Breathing new life into Lifelike & Kris Menace‘s classic Ibiza anthem, MEDUZAskillfully rework this seminal record for contemporary dance floors. With the iconic melody floating atop the signature MEDUZA sound with their galvanizing grooves, this remix lays the foundations for the resurgence of ‘Discopolis‘.
MEDUZA: “We chose to remix this track as the original is really influential for us. We always thought the track gave us the perfect balance between the electronic music and ’80s music that we grew up dancing to, so this track was an honour to remix, hopefully for this generation to continue the dancing!”
Lifelike & Kris Menace: “‘Discopolis’ is a special record for us and many others. This makes it a difficult one to remix but we have to say that MEDUZA have done an amazing job. They have given it a fresh, contemporary sound whilst managing to keep the vibe of the original!”
MEDUZA have spent the year leading the charge in returning house music to daytime radio, with great success. Their debut release, ‘Piece Of Your Heart‘ featuring Goodboys, has now seen over a billion streams globally, reaching double platinum in the U.K. alone and peaking at #2 on the Official U.K. Charts.
This trend has followed MEDUZA globally, with multiple diamond, platinum and gold certifications around the world and a GRAMMY nomination. The follow up, ‘Lose Control‘ with Goodboys and Becky Hill, has made an meteoric impact, reaching the U.K. Top 40 in its first week, now exceeding the milestone number of 500 million cumulative streams with another U.K. platinum sales award to boot.
LA based DJ and producer Goldbrg drops his debut cut, ‘Feel This Good’ – delivering a chunky dose of vocal driven House music.
Hot on the trails of his recent hyped quarantine DJ sets lighting up social media and notching up an average audience of 20,000-30,000 viewers per stream, Goldbrg has quickly gone onto amass an engaging audience across a multitude of Facebook groups – most notably ‘Zoom Memes for Self Quaranteens‘.
Building on the buzz, Goldbrg is now looking to take things to the next level as he drops his debut release. Entitled, ‘Feel This Good‘ – the cut features an infectious vocal hook and catchy drop, accompanied by a bassline that’s sure to fire up airwaves worldwide.
The disco-tinged house anthem from monster pairing Fatboy Slim and Eats Everything sees a superb remix from fast-rising Irish DJ and producer Rebūke.
Rebūke brings his stylistic fusion of industrial techno and acid to this fiery disco hot-cake. Dashing tripped-out vocal snippets from the original across his palate of diligent kicks and crisp hi-hats, his wiggly acid lead swells and widens across a spaced-out breakdown that hurls us back into his stripped-back blend of wavey acid and racing 909 drum grooves.
Fatboy Slim & Eats Everything (Rebūke Remix)
Here’s what Rebūke had to say about the remix:
“I’ve been a fan of Fatboy Slim & Eats Everything for years, so when they asked me to remix their new record ‘All The Ladies’, it was a big buzz. The remix was written in lockdown at my home studio in Letterkenny, which is a first for me.
I wanted to twist the original and make something new, whilst still keeping the energy and groove from the original track. I’ve been playing it on all my live streams the last few months and it’s been going down a treat!”

“Tomorrowland Around The World is the result of a gigantic team effort of hundreds of people who are working around the clock to create a never-before-seen interactive entertainment experience. Since we started this project and all ideas came together, we immediately felt an enormous energy and lots of positivity from everybody involved. For us it’s a bit re-inventing the festival experience, but we truly believe that we can bring the spirit of Tomorrowland and entertainment at the highest level to people and homes around the globe.
We hope that hundreds of thousands of people will unite in a responsible way and that small Tomorrowland gatherings at people’s homes – from Canada to Australia, from Japan to Brazil and everywhere in between – will be organised. Especially during the weekend where normally Tomorrowland Belgium would take place, we really have the power to unite the world.”
The People of Tomorrow are invited to experience this unique event together with friends: dressing up with your best festival outfit, putting up tents in your back garden to create your own DreamVille, setting up a big screen, inviting your beloved ones for a nice barbecue with music and an amazing festival experience, decorating your balcony or throwing a party in your living room – this weekend is all about uniting through the power of music in a responsible and safe way.
