What are the differences between Tomorrowland Weekend 1 vs 2

tomorrowland
Tomorrowland 2018 :The Story Of Planaxis"

The world already knows about the magnificent Tomorrowland festival in Boom, Belgium, but what they don’t know is if there are any differences between Tomorrowland weekend 1 vs 2. We’re here to solve that, so let’s get started.

There are a lot of questions circling regarding the differences between the two weekends that Tomorrowland offers. If you’ve never attended the event, these are some pretty valid concerns when you’re trying to decide which weekend to party on, and we want to help make that decision a little easier. We’ve done some digging and here’s what we’ve found.

First off, like any other festival that throws back to back weekends, the lineup will almost 100% of the time be a little different. This fact alone can be heartbreaking to those who are only available one of the two weekends.

For example, if you can only go weekend 2, but your favorite DJ only plays weekend 1 that absolutely sucks, and we get it. This is something that every raver will or already has dealt with before, and there’s nothing we can do about it. Superstar DJ’s are constantly in demand, and for some it’s almost impossible to book back to back weekends in the same city, deal with it.

Tomorrowland 2019

Secondly, and an even more obvious fact is the wear and tear the grounds will take over the course of weekend 1. Now, that doesn’t mean the stages or any of the art installations will look any different, we’re strictly referring to the grass. If you are someone who wants everything (including the grass) to look absolutely perfect, then we suggest weekend 1 for obvious reasons. But if that is something you really do not care about then either weekend will be perfect for you.

Last but not least, the stages during Tomorrowland weekend 1 vs 2 will most definitely have different hosts. Meaning, weekend 1 for example may have a stage hosted by ‘A State of Trance’, while weekend 2 that same stage may be hosted by, ‘Axtone’. Now that is just an example but this is something that each individual must research ahead of time depending on their own music choice.

Tomorrowland weekend 1 vs 2

Tomorrowland is one of the most important festivals to do research on ahead of time, this is no joke. Do not be that person that shows up on the weekend that your favorite artists doesn’t play and blame it on the festival. That is 100% your fault. Put in the time and make the trip perfect, you will not regret it.

Give us a comment if we missed anything, like I said, do some research before you buy! Can’t wait to see you there. Party safe people.

Giuseppe Ottaviani dropped a brand new track ‘Moscow River’

Giuseppe Ottaviani

Giuseppe Ottaviani has not been kidding around this year. 1 conceptually innovative album, 9 single releases and gigs whose count is pushing triple digits have all been worked into the 365 of his 2019. In fact better make that 10 singles, as the Italian’s about to sign the year off with his first post-‘Evolver’ album material.

Time to take a plunge into the ‘Moscow River’!

While the numbers keep revising, what hasn’t changed is his unique production dynamic. Taking to YouTube in mid-November, Giuseppe recounted ‘Moscow River’s journey from conception to completion. A swift but storied tale it was too…

The original spark for the track came to Giuseppe’s mind whilst looking out over the titular waterway from his hotel room in October. He subsequently workshopped its melody during the pre-gig soundcheck ahead of his Adrenaline Stadium show in the Russian capital. That was livestream-caught by one of the show’s promoters, generating a flood of ‘we-need-this-now!’ type responses.

Through his G.O. Live 2.0 set-up Giuseppe developed it over subsequent shows, before ID-dropping it during his set at the ASOT studio during ADE. Only after the ‘Evolver’ release dust had finally settled did he find the time to finalise the track (on a flight to Argentina no less!) and as 2019 transitions into ‘20, he’s delighted to present his first from the post-‘Evolver’ era.

Boris Brejcha unveils epic new single ‘Lieblingsmensch’

Boris Brejcha

German DJ and producer Boris Brejcha has dropped a brand new single titled ‘Lieblingsmensch’, out now via Ultra Music.

An epic, eight-and-a-half minute journey, ‘Lieblingsmensch‘ will go down as one of Brejcha‘s most captivatingly melodic tracks yet: a whirlwind of dense-yet-refined electronics that find the sweet spot between rich emotion and infectious dancefloor energy.

Lieblingsmensch‘ marks Brejcha‘s latest release following on from October’s ‘Never Look Back’, a trademark brand of his driving, emphatic techno.

Having completed a North American tour and played at a slew of Ibiza parties across 2019, Brejcha shows no signs of taking his foot off the gas anytime soon. He will perform in Amsterdam, Belgrade, Zurich, Milan, Lisbon, Rome and Warsaw in the next month alone.

Emerging onto the scene with the double release of ‘Monster‘ and ‘Yellow Kitchen‘ back in 2006, Brejcha has spent the years since developing his own style of music, coined as ‘High-Tech Minimal‘. Last year he dropped a track on the Best Of Cloning Sound compilation to mark the tenth anniversary of the imprint.

Capping off a typically prolific year, Boris Brejcha looks poised to finish 2019 on a high after the release of the stunning ‘Lieblingsmensch‘.

Anabel Englund and Jamie Jones release new single ‘Messing With Magic’

Anabel Englund

Singer, songwriter, and producer Anabel Englund delivered her scintillating single “So Hot” (MK & Nightlapse Remix) as the first release on MK’s relaunched iconic Detroit based, AREA10/Ultra Music.

Today (December 6) comes a brand-new production for the label: “Messing With Magic” from Anabel Englund and Jamie Jones.

Sizzling with dance floor attitude and capturing the raw, messy magic of falling in love, as told by Anabel Englund, “Messing with Magic” is entrancing in its dichotomy: oftentimes bright and carefree with her authentic Southern California breeziness, and other times irresistibly alluring with a dark, smoldering touch alongside imaginative Jamie Jones production. It also serves as the title track for her debut EP Messing With Magic, Area10/Ultra Music which will be released in 2020.

When I write songs, at the time, I think I’m writing about one thing. It isn’t until months later that I realize I was actually writing about all these underlying, deeper meanings that I couldn’t see at the time, making the lyrics feel more powerful and sincere,” says Englund.

Guy Gerber delivers new Remix of Kaz James’ track ‘Through Your Love’

Guy Gerber

Prior to its release, Kaz James’ ‘Through Your Love’ had already picked up Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune’ during his Miami Show this year. A superb start was further cemented as it went on to be universally supported across Radio One’s specialist shows, with kudos coming from Mistajam, Annie Mac and Danny Howard.

It didn’t stop there, out on the international dancefloor, underground club support flooded in from the likes of The Martinez Bros, Black Coffee, Blondish and Diplo all stamping authority on the release’s underground credibility.

Now, as the track grows and progresses, Israeli DJ and electronic producer Guy Gerber takes on remix duties. Over the last two decades, Gerber has become one of electronic music’s most dominant forces thanks to his production of instant classics such as ‘What To Do’.

His achievements have been widely recognised, securing a ‘Top 10 Live Performer’ nod three years in a row in the Resident Advisor polls and lending his hand in curating some of undergrounds most intriguing talents through his label imprint Rumors.

Here Gerber offers a darker take on the original as he blends the melodic world with euphoria, providing a minimal techno track layered with sublime exotic vocals. A kin to the original from Kaz James but with a tougher flavour, it assures to follow in typical Gerber fashion as a sure-fire hit.
