Dainjazone Calls Upon LMFAO Member Redfoo To Deliver Follow-Up Anthem, ‘Long Live Party Rock’

“Party rockin’ in the house tonight!” Whether you are eight or 80 years old, you know these lyrics by heart. That is because LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” is one of the most celebrated anthems of all-time. Sadly, LMFAO came to a halt more than six years ago and we haven’t seen any projects from its members since, that is until now.

Giving music fans an exciting taste of hip-hop and dance nostalgia, Redfoo, who was half of LMFAO, has ended his hiatus from music with an invigorating collab. Sparked by the prominent artist Dainjazone, this single pays homage to the 2011 classic hit and is called “Long Live Party Rock“.

The track immediately locks in its audience, kicking off with a high-energy house bassline. When Redfoo‘s starts delivering a series of powerful rhymes, crowds are guaranteed to go wild. His riveting verses are balanced with stellar female vocals, reigning in a club vibe for the song.

As a whole, “Long Live Party Rock” celebrates the 2011 masterpiece from LMFAO, while bringing spellbinding new sounds and lyrics to the tables. While Redfoo has reignited his musical flame, Dainjazone is just getting started and plans to continue tearing up the dance scene this year.

Eelke Kleijn & Lee Cabrera turn back time with glistening new track ‘Self Control’

Dutch standout Eelke Kleijn is unveiling his newest single, linking musical talents with none other than Lee Cabrera for the electrifying future favorite, “Self Control.” Landing on Eelke’s very own DAYS like NIGHTS label, “Self Control” captures the magic of Laura Branigan’s 1984 single of the same name, satiating retro tastes while lighting the fuse for the dancefloors today. 

Having cemented himself as one of the scene’s most alluring and multi-talented producers with his 2020 LP “Oscillations“, Eelke Kleijn has proven time after time that he’s simply cut from a different cloth. Now applying his mature studio touch to Laura Branigan‘s “Self Control” Eelke presents a new shade to his effervescent musical style, one lush with otherworldly FX and downright contagious grooves.

A proven innovator when it comes to the infectious rhythms of modern disco-house, Lee Cabrera makes for a perfect musical compliment to Eelke Kleijn on “Self Control.” Having already asserted his sonic brand with releases like “Gimme Gimme Gimme,” Cabrera‘s productions have long been hitting the decks of DJs like Fisher, Diplo, Seth Troxler, and Chris Lake.

Chris Lake & Aluna collaborate for a brand new track “Beggin”

GRAMMY-nominated, chart-topping artist Chris Lake and acclaimed singer-songwriter Aluna team up on the irresistible new single “Beggin,'” released now via Black Book Records/Astralwerks.

With her playful yet seductive vocals, Aluna promises, “I’ll get you beggin beggin” and Lake‘s breezy production matches her mischievous tone, punctuating a steady beat with bright aural surprises.

“‘Beggin’ is a tale of caution,” explains Chris Lake. “Sometimes you want someone so badly, but when you get them you wish you’d never set eyes on them…a bit like me. I’m a lot,” adds Aluna, who will embark on a UK/European headline tour on April 22.

She’ll also be playing North American festivals this year such as Breakaway North Carolina, Hangout and Sundown Solstice.

Lake will perform at Coachella this Sunday, April 23. His return to the festival follows the release of “In The Yuma” (Ft. Aatig). The single was praised by Billboard, which noted, “‘In The Yuma’ is a beautiful bit of rhythmic meditation, where the modern tech house icon successfully channeled the energy of his Coachella 2019 performance (in the festival’s Yuma tent, get it?) and recreated that sweaty, funky get-down into a lively tune that fits on futuristic dance floors around the world.”

Dancing Astronaut said, “Pushing the envelope for the tech-house genre once more, ‘In The Yuma’ is another example of a Chris Lake original that sounds stands so far apart from the rest of house music.” Lake, together with Black Book Records, will take over two stages at Brooklyn Mirage on May 5 and 6 – the venue’s 2023 opening weekend. He’ll also be performing at numerous summer festivals.

It’s finally official: After much anticipation, R Label Group has announced their massive ten-year anniversary celebrations in 11 major cities all over Europe, featuring the label’s renowned artists on the line-ups, as well as some very special guests, such as Klangkuenstler, SPFDJ or Cera Khin.

After a decade of iconic techno releases, creating a community and subculture like no other, the Berlin-based label collective around Kobosil is not holding back but will celebrate 12 huge anniversary events with impressive line-ups, including the label head Kobosil himself and his whole label crew, namely Somewhen, Rikhter, Clara Cuvé, Parallx, Afem Syko, In Verruf, Aiden, Kander, Franck, New Frames, and Melis.

And if that’s not enough, keep your eyes peeled for some friends of the label joining as special guests: Klangkuenstler, SPFDJ, Cera Khin, and several more will be announced soon!

The celebrations start in Mannheim, Germany, in June and then move further to R Label Group‘s spiritual home of Berlin in July – these are the first events you won’t want to miss. elrow announces full lineup for its Amnesia opening party

Amnesia Ibiza is once again opening its doors to welcome the elrow family and all the revelers. After a hugely successful summer season last year, every Saturday from May to September, Amnesia and elrow will join forces again to entertain and amuse anyone who steps into the legendary club.

The 19-date elrow series returns to its Pitiusa home starting on Saturday, May 27th, 2023, with the aim of enveloping and transporting all fans to different creative worlds full of light, fantasy, and colour. As usual, elrow attendees can expect the biggest DJs in the world to soundtrack their icy adventure.

Headlining the lineup of the first party of the summer, we have the Spanish DJ, Wade, one of the Spanish artists with the greatest international demand. The Sevillian artist will be one of those in charge of opening the elrow season at Amnesia Ibiza.

The Dutch artist duo formed by brother and sister, Andy Sherman and Dorothy Sherman, Shermanology, are also confirmed to play on the Amnesia Terrace, alongside the residents Tini Gessler and George Privatti.

Meanwhile, Chelina Manuhutu will be playing all night long in elrow City, which will be held at the club’s Main Room, keeping dancers moving throughout the night and ensuring that elrow‘s Ibiza residency kicks off in the most exciting way.

Gora & Eloy unveil their brand new EP ‘Bronzo’ on Hitec-Condo

Gora & Eloy’s latest EP, “Bronzo,” is an intriguing exploration of heavy Bass music. Released under the Hitec-Condo label, this EP is set to drop on Friday, April 21, 2023, and is sure to make waves among fans of experimental electronic music.

Featuring four tracks, “Bronzo” is an interesting mix of footwork and house, creating a unique sound that can only be described as an ugly sibling of the two.

Gora & Eloy‘s sound on “Bronzo” bears some resemblance to the work of An Avrin or Nikki Nair, but the duo has clearly crafted their own style. In their own words, “We like that Bleeps & Funk stststutter,” and it shows in their music. The Offenbach Mothership has delivered a journey through uncharted territories of Bassmusic with this release.

After its first very successful edition last year BEONIX Music Festival is back again just for your listening pleasure!

The upcoming electronic music festival, set to take place in Limassol from September 22-24, is going to be an event like no other. With an incredible lineup of superstar international and local artists, this festival promises to be an epic three-day celebration of electronic music, culture, and community.

Some of your favorite names in the electronic music scene are set to headline the festival, including Black Coffee, Stephan Bodzin (live), Oliver Huntemann, Maceo Plex, Jan Blomqvist, Brina Knauss, Joyhauser, Innellea, Luna Semara and Larla Blum.

Hï Ibiza drops stellar lineup for FISHER & Vintage Culture’s 2023 summer residency

Australian superstar FISHER and Brazilian heavyweight Vintage Culture are back at Hï Ibiza this summer with another 17-week run of standout house and techno parties. Last summer’s dream team residency will take over Hï Ibiza every Wednesday from 7 June to 27 September. The formidable pair will be joined by the top tier of international DJ talent every week, making for an unmissable summer of musical fun.

This dual-pronged party offers the most cutting-edge mix of contemporary names, along with weekly sets from the hosts themselves. Grammy-nominated artist FISHER is the man behind the enduring club classic ‘Losing It‘ but is also known for his electrifying and diverse electronic selections. This summer, he’s lined up an epic selection of artists to join him in on his summer-long Ibiza odyssey in the Hï Ibiza Theatre.

This includes big beat godfather and legendary hitmaker Fatboy Slim, Spanish techno titan Paco Osuna – who has his own Hï Ibiza residency each Tuesday – and Aussie party starter Mall Grab who goes back-to-back with breakout new school talent Effy. Global tech house ambassadors Solardo also line up, as does the colourful and charismatic Defected artist Purple Disco Machine, Spanish favourite Wade, Dutch melodic maestro Joris Voorn, UK beatsmiths Cloonee and Chris Lake, dance icons Basement Jaxx, another exclusive back to back between underground stalwarts Andrea Oliva and Nic Fanciulli, and Desolat’s chunky techno champion Loco Dice.

Over in the Club room, there will be more electrifying sounds from Vintage Culture, the famously obsessive artist behind a steady stream of warm and emotive house tracks on labels like Defected, Spinnin and many more.

He will be joined by Afro house innovator Amémé, Ibiza mainstay Andrea Oliva, the bohemian styles of Spaniard Arodes, Danish/Egyptian DJ, producer and vocalist Ashibah, rising Brazilian talent Brisotti, and the bass-driven sounds of Edible boss Eats Everything. Elsewhere on the bill, there’s plenty of talent from Brazil such as Eli Iwasa, Fancy Inc B2b Bruno Be, and Gabe.

Elderbrook‘s alluring vocal styles also star, alongside Vintage Culture collaborator John Summit, Dutch powerhouse Joris Voorn, the deep Afro sounds of Kitty Amor, Danish craftsman Kölsch, the heavy grooves of Loco Dice, and melodic explorations from Italian duo Mathame.
