Claude VonStroke releases new sample pack: “Claude’s Construction Vol 1”

Step into Claude VonStroke’s creative world today with “Claude’s Construction Vol 1,” a robust new sample pack released today exclusively through DIRTYBIRD.

The pack—crafted by the label boss himself—offers up 10 different track concepts, each broken up into its smallest parts to allow for maximum variety in composition. It also gives producers an intimate glance into how Claude’s mind works in the studio.

In his words: “Many sample packs are based on a lot of single sounds but this pack shows you how a typical VonStroke track is put together by providing all the core loops, midi and one shot sounds that go into creating a full concept. Music keys, BPM and information are all clearly labeled and the material is deconstructed from the smallest single elements all the way to the separated tracks that create the song ideas.”

To celebrate the launch, DIRTYBIRD opens its doors to all who use “Claude’s Construction” to forge a track of their own with a special contest. Entrants can create under any genre they’d like and send it into the label by April 15 for a chance win a year’s worth of Birdfeed subscription for free, an official release on the Birdfeed subsidiary label, and featured plays on both DIRTYBIRD LIVE TV, and the Birdhouse Radio Show on Sirius XM and Apple Music. Finalists in the competition will also have their works played in a special Birdhouse episode. The winner will be announced on April 17.

Anjunabeats presents new remixes of ilan Bluestone and Maor Levi’s ‘Hold On’ (feat. Alex Clare), from Kryder & GVN.

Anjunabeats stalwarts (and best friends) ilan Bluestone and Maor Levi have been collaborating since 2011. Together, they’ve released the singles ‘Will We Remain?’, ‘Can You’ and ‘The Distance’, in addition to remixing Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Gabriel & Dresden.

Their latest collaboration is ‘Hold On’, featuring London-based singer-songwriter Alex Clare. Written on tour in 2018, the track was fine-tuned on the world’s biggest trance stages: Untold Festival, Creamfields, and Dreamstate L.A.

Fresh from remixing York’s ‘On The Beach’, Kryder returns to Anjunabeats to rework ‘Hold On’. He’s reworked the likes of Lost Frequencies, Basement Jaxx, Benny Benassi, and Chicane, as well as Grum’s ‘Afterglow’.

Irish producer GVN has been turning heads lately with his Anjunabeats debut ‘I Don’t’, which was supported by BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Above & Beyond, and Gabriel & Dresden. We’re thrilled to say you’ll be hearing more original material from him on Anjunabeats soon.

Fedde Le Grand releases ‘In Love With You’ with Melo.Kids

Established creative force Fedde Le Grand makes his return to the release radar alongside enigmatic Polish DJ and production duo Melo.Kids with ‘In Love With You’.

The track serves as the renowned Dutch talent’s follow up to his first single of 2021, the late-January released hit ‘Bang Bang‘. Out now on his very own Darklight Recordings imprint, ‘In Love With You‘ is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.

The sprightly tune immediately kicks off with a pulsating bass line alongside a galvanised beat and infectious rhythm. Enticingly entrancing from start to finish, the feel-good four-on-the-floor endeavor quickly introduces a rich, textured vocal cut into the sonic space.

Melo.Kids‘ distinct signature sound can be heard throughout, enmeshing their unique spin on electro, future, and bass house effortlessly with Fedde Le Grand‘s inimitable production prowess.

Melo.Kids are a Polish DJ duo who have been active in the dance music scene since 2018. Their first single, ‘FALL‘ featuring L.A.-based singer/songwriter Kata Kozma, was quickly followed several months later by ‘Believer‘, their Darklight Recordings debut. Over the last several years, they’ve received staunch support from Afrojack, David Guetta, Hardwell, and Martin Garrix, amongst many others. ‘In Love With You‘ directly follows ‘House Down‘, their single released in early September of last year.

Propulsive and lively, ‘In Love With You‘ is a driving original production that marks yet another prime addition to both esteemed talents’ back-catalogs.

Ibiza Club Amnesia Announces Closing Party for 2021

As the positive news begins to flow around the UK and EU, iconic Ibiza club Amnesia lead from the front by announcing its ‘Inverse Season’, starting with the always unmissable closing party on October 23rd. Sure to feature all the world renowned superstars you would expect, further details will come in reverse order in the ensuing months.

It’s been a dark year and a whole season was missed in 2020. But that only means the team has had time to work hard on operations and have planned the biggest ever closing with superstars DJs and live acts old and new all planned.

The Amnesia closing party is the most famous in all the world, often rolling on for 24 hours with many historic sets laid down to the adoring masses on the dance floor. That dance floor is drenched in ice cannons, next level sound an avant garde visual production that will awaken your every sense after such a long time away from clubs.

Antonator drops exquisite new track ‘Error’

Fresh up and signalling the launch of his brand new pseudonym, ‘Error’ is the upfront cut from Stockholm based DJ and producer – Antonator.

Hailing from Athens and based out of Stockholm, Anto has been producing music since the late 90’s and in 2007, he won Pete Tong‘s prestigious Bedroom Bedlam competition – with his track ‘Wonderful Strings‘.

In 2009, one of his subsequent remixes reached #1 on Hypem and since then, Anto has been releasing on his own label imprint Anto Recordings – receiving support from the likes of Utah Saints, Tocadisco, Robbie Rivera, Mason, Crystal Method and many more.

Antonator Error

Fast forward to the present, with a focus on modern House music and a twist of nostalgia – it’s now the turn of Antonator to take centre stage as he presents his latest studio creation, ‘Error‘.

Benny Benassi unites with Domino for new single ‘Sugar’

Releasing his first original of the year, Benny Benassi once again returns with his impeccable skills for Sugar, featuring Domino – out on Ultra Records now.

Having already enlisted the likes of Crazy Cousinz, Varmix, Boss Doms and Riccardo Marchi for a remix on his track, LOVELIFE alongside Jeremih (which has just reached 10m streams and a place in the US Dance Radio Top 10), as well as Swedish super-duo, Galantis for a rework of his huge hit, Cinema, Benny Benassi is as thriving this year as he was when he exploded onto the scene over a decade ago.

From his debut track Satisfaction receiving a #1 across the world, and his first album making top 20 in all parts of Europe, Benny Benassi catapulted his way into stardom. Since then he has graced the stages of some of the most renowned festivals including, Coachella, EDC, Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland, and demonstrated his ability to lend himself to a multitude of genres through his collaborations with the likes of Madonna, CeCe Rogers, to name a few.

Meanwhile, featured artist on the track, Domino caught Benny’s attention at age of 18. Three years since and Domino has continued to be involved in various BB Team productions, before going onto release a rework of Jennifer Page’s Crush and Harry Styles’ Watermelon Sugar with the team and on EGO Music last year.

Benny speaking about his work with Domino said:

“ I can still remember the day he got in touch with me and I never imagined we’d be able to end up like this. He called me asking for guidance and I thought I’d be talking to an Italian kid with American origins. Instead, I found out he was an American living in my city, speaking English waaay better than me. At the time he seemed lost and didnt know which genre would be best, or even he was up to this job.

To be honest, none of us knew the answer to his questions, only time will tell. What I know for certain is that he immediately impressed me with his positive attitude, his smile and his perseverance. Today we are releasing our first song together and I want him to know that I’m proud to be part of his musical journey. Good luck Damiano, let’s keep it up!”

Having already premiered on Wednesday with Italian Radio station, M2O, Benny and Domino release Sugar on the esteemed Ultra Records. Featuring addictive vocal hooks from Domino which soar over grooving basslines and funky synth structures, Sugar is destined to grace playlists and airwaves alikes.

Richie Hawtin, under his Plastikman alias, has created 3 original soundtracks for Prada

All three soundtracks are now finally released with additional versions and an Ambient Version of the highly-regarded first soundtrack, ‘Sin Thetik’.

The Canadian electronic musician and DJ has been working closely under the direction of co-creative directors Miuccia Prada & Raf Simons, the resulting music heightens the senses and invites movement, evoking the dancefloor as much as thoughtful inner worlds.

Exploring the Plastikman sound in this new context has been a challenge and release for Hawtin and his revered alias, as he successfully auralized the vision and feel of each collection.

Hawtin says of the releases:

“For the Prada & Plastikman collaboration the musical direction was inspired by Miuccia’s & Raf’s concept for each collection. Although each collection had its own specific theme, I felt confident that the visual language of Prada and sonic aesthetic of Plastikman would find a beautiful and symbiotic relationship.

For the Spring / Summer 2021 Womenswear collection, Prada explores thoughts on how technology influences intimacy and sensuality, inspiring my use of AI algorithms to create synthetic voices to inhabit the show’s sonic landscape. The Fall / Winter 2021 Menswear collection resonated with the world’s current situation and how fashion (and music) help us deal with it and let us express ourselves.

Combining two works into one, reflected this metamorphosis with echoes of club beats and synth melodies that appear like a ghost from the past, hopefully waiting for their return. The third release and soundtrack composed for the Fall / Winter2021 Womenswear collection evolves through two distinct stages. Syncopated hypnotic beats welcome you first into an ambience of intimacy and sensuality, which then develops in the second half into a more playful and sexually charged rhythm of driving percussion.”

Two of the biggest dance tracks globally of recent times, ‘Piece Of Your Heart‘ and ‘Lose Control‘ have amassed a combined 3 billion global streams, both achieving multi-platinum status and breaking into the UK ‘Top 20’.
