Be As One” may be considered an extension of Afterlife‘s latest compilation “Unity” which was also released with the goal to collect donations to fight COVID-19 in Italy. Tale Of Us have always been committed to delivering important messages. The duo not only release amazing music, but they also lead a genuine movement with Afterlife.

We encourage you all to do what you can too. As a first gesture of solidarity, we are releasing our track ‘Be As One’ today and will donate the proceeds, together with our own donations, to charities fighting against racism worldwide”.

Mathame unveil the first remixes for ‘Never Give Up’

Mathame

Following the release of their latest single ‘Never Give Up’ which was awarded ‘The Essential New Tune’ accolade by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Italian brothers Mathame today unveil the first in a string of new remixes. Released via ‘B1 Recordings / Ministry Of Sound’, German live-artist and underground producer Vril provides the opening remix.

One of electronic music’s most enigmatic characters, the ‘Giegling‘ artist has continuously demonstrated a masterfully versatile take on techno, releasing on revered labels including ‘Ostgut Ton‘ and ‘Dystopian‘. A prolific name within the international club-setting, Vril‘s live sets have enthralled dance floors from Berghain to Ibiza, all the while maintaining a mysterious shade of anonymity. Re-imagining Mathame‘s original into an atmospheric and experimental production, Vril‘s remix lands just after the release of his double-sided EP on Marcel Dettman‘s ‘Bad Manners‘ label.

Over recent years, electronic duo Mathame have established themselves as one of underground music’s most promising rising acts. Released in March via ‘B1 Recordings / Ministry Of Sound‘, ‘Never Give Up‘ continues to receive an ever-growing stream of support, already fostered from industry leaders including BBC Radio 1‘s Pete Tong who awarded their earlier release on Tale Of Us’ ‘Afterlife’, ‘For Every Forever’ their first ‘Essential New Tune‘.

Never Give Up Vril remix

Musically, ‘Never Give Up’ has many influences, from techno to cinematic soundtracks and sound design. We try to synthesise all our influences into one track that can be like a manifesto of our sound, dynamic, wider, handcrafted, dreaming, with a simple and strong message. A message to the earth, like a flag that calls everyone to not ever give up.

The track arrives at the time of a global crisis where it feels like everything is out of our hands and we have lost control. Now more than ever, the planet earth and humanity need this message, every day and every night.” – Mathame

Charlotte de Witte unveils her new EP ‘Return To Nowhere’

Charlotte de Witte

Belgian Techno DJ and producer, Charlotte de Witte marks the homecoming to her own imprint KNTXT with her brand new titled EP ‘Return to Nowhere’. The captivating record exists out of four long-awaited tracks called ‘Return to Nowhere, ‘Ensemble’, ‘Sgadi Li Mi’ and ‘What’s In The Past’.

Further exploring her sonic realm, the record features techno sound reminiscent of her ‘Selected‘ EP, but switches out the acid stabs for haunting hymns. The result is a gripping dismal soundtrack that feels desolate yet hopeful. With this spellbinding EP which combines her iconic hard-punching techno with mesmerizing chants effortlessly, Charlotte proves once again why she remains at the forefront of the industry.

The release of ‘Return to Nowhere‘ fits perfectly in these uncertain times. Charlotte says: “I made the EP before the current COVID-19 crisis. After being inspired by recordings of age-old traditional chants. So, I never intended it to be a “Corona record”. However, it did grow on me during this period of isolation.

Lost Frequencies is counting down to Tomorrowland Around the World, the digital festival

One World Radio

It’s only a matter of weeks now until the People of Tomorrow will be gathering again, uniting at the first edition of Tomorrowland Around the World, the digital festival.

Belgian DJ and producer Lost Frequencies – the most played Belgian artist in the world – is already counting down the days and is hosting this week’s Tomorrowland Friendship Mix on One World Radio.

The young Belgian prodigy is taking the listeners on a one-hour musical journey across the globe, playing a lot of new music with two unreleased tracks and some of his favorite tracks from artists around the world, including Major Lazer, Ellie Goulding, Martin Solveig, Jax Jones and Avicii.

Lost Frequencies talks about his uniquely curated one-hour guest mix for One World Radio:

There is a lot of new stuff in my Tomorrowland Friendship Mix. One of the new tracks is an unreleased track from my own label Found Frequencies, ‘Toxic Love’. It’s by a young Belgian producer and it’s a really upbeat track, full of good vibes.

The other premiere is the deluxe edit of my last single ‘Love To Go’, and it’s not released yet. I made it together with Zonderling and it’s actually the first time I did a deluxe edit with someone. The track has become a mix between my own style and their sound – a really big track with a fat drop – and I’m looking forward to playing this at festivals again.”

The Belgian superstar also takes a moment to reminisce about Avicii by including a track from his early days:

“‘A New Hope’ is one of my favorite tracks from Avicii, a very powerful and melodic sound, and one of the songs that made me go into electro house. He was still an upcoming talent back then, but you could already really feel his strong production skills.

The Tomorrowland Friendship Mix by Lost Frequencies has debuted exclusively on One World Radio on Thursday June 11 at 20:00 CEST and is now available on multiple platforms: online, on the One World Radio app, YouTube, SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts, Deezer and TuneIn.

Déepalma Ibiza 2020 mixed by Yves Murasca and Rosario Galati

Déepalma Records return with a brand new edition of their popular Ibiza compilation series, compiled and mixed by Yves Murasca and Rosario Galati, available as limited 3xcd-box and for download.

The world has changed, summer 2020 will be different due to COVID-19. The freedom of traveling is also limited due to the new situation, however one essential thing has remained in this difficult time: music.

Music unites people from all around the world. It gives hope and joy and is a loyal companion during the crisis. It is just as important now to musically capture the atmosphere and spirit of an island as life-affirming as Ibiza. Déepalma Records’ latest compilation “Déepalma Ibiza 2020” puts white sandy beaches beneath your feet and the salty taste of the sea on your tongue.

With the mixes “Sunset Moods“, “Pool Party Grooves” and “Beach Feelings” the compilation appears as multifaceted as Ibiza yearly represents itself and provides the right soundtrack for all times of the day.

The background for the perfect sunset comes – sometimes dreamy, sometimes driving – from superstar artists such as Claptone, Monika Kruse, Andhim, Oliver Schories, Tube & Berger and Monolink.

Up next, the “Pool Party” mix draws on the shuffling hats and infectious melodies of Purple Disco Machine, Wankelmut, David Penn, Roger Sanchez, Milk & Sugar and Franky Rizardo, before the “Beach mix” concludes the package with more relaxed and laidback rhythms from names such as Chasing Kurt, Scibi, Full Intention, Ucha and Alex Kentucky.

Déepalma Ibiza 2020 drops on June 12th as limited 3xcd-box and download edition. The
download edition for DJs is already available from May 29th via Beatport and Traxsource.

Carl Cox, Eats Everything and Nightmares On Wax headline the next Set For Love Weekender

Carl Cox

The electronic music industry is uniting once more on the 19th, 20th and 21st June with Carl Cox, Eats Everything and Nightmares on Wax amongst the headliners joining the party and inspiring DJ’s around the world to join them and play a Set For Love.

Building on its hugely successful Set For Love in May, the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life charity are looking to continue fundraising in aid of its COVID-19 appeal with another record-breaking event.

Raising more than £60,000 across a mammoth 72-hour simultaneous DJ live stream, more than 1000 DJs took part last time from over 50 different countries. The event saw the likes of Louie Vega, Paul Oakenfold, Jackmaster, Nightmares On Wax, Doorly, Pioneer DJ, Mixcloud and many more industry heavyweights get involved.

They were joined by thousands of other DJs of all levels and from all corners of the globe streaming and fundraising. Now LNADJ is taking Set For Love one step further to continue to help communities that are suffering drastically from the consequences of lockdown and with industry heavyweights like Carl Cox calling out to DJs around the world.

The headline sets will be hosted daily on the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Facebook Page (here) from 7pm CEST through to 1am on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June. They can also be viewed on DanceTelevision social channels and the artists own channels. The weekend includes a Wax Da Jam showcase on the Saturday. LNADJ is encouraging community DJs, A-list celebrities, labels, promoters, producers and everyone in between to get involved and help raise money to continue to help provide food parcels, fresh water and sanitation supplies to those suffering from the consequences of lockdown and COVID-19 in developing countries.

Jonny Lee, Founder of LNADJ said, “To see some of the most high profile DJs in the world come together with thousands of community DJs is a real inspiration. Although lockdown restrictions may be being lifted in places, the economic crisis for many is getting worse, not better.

We’re supporting vulnerable people in developing countries who have no savings, no benefits systems, no furlough! These communities need our help now more than ever so I urge anyone that wants to make a difference and help change people’s lives to join us on June the 19th, 20th and 21st June by sharing a set, spreading the message or donating.”

Carl Cox said “I am really looking forward to playing alongside my peers and to creating a very special musical journey for Set For Love, it feels good to do this for the cause of helping others, with our passion to share. See you all out there. Oh yes!”

Eats Everything said “Playing on line-ups with Carl is special every time, I never expected to be doing it ever, let alone from halfway around the world but it is lovely to be involved in such an inclusive concept such as Set For Love.

Those looking to take part and make a difference, can simply register at link, choose the hour(s) they want to broadcast their set, choose the platform they want to broadcast it from and share the LNADJ fundraising link . The sets will then be streamed simultaneously all weekend long, with DJs sharing the link for their fans, friends and family to donate and spread the hashtag #setforlove.

With COVID-19 pandemic wreaking havoc around the world, music festivals and events are announcing cancelations or moving dates on a daily basis. elrow Town in Trent Park, London is the latest major festival to be postponed to 2021.

Organizers had this to say about the devastating news:

Dear elrow Town citizens,

For the last few months we have all been witnessed the devastating impact that COVID-19 has been having across the world. Whilst everyone’s priorities are keeping themselves and loved ones safe, we now have to address the upcoming elrow Town London 2020, which sadly under the gripping circumstances of this global pandemic, shall not be able to go ahead this year.

We have been working closely with local authorities and closely following UK government guidelines and strongly believe this is the most ethical and responsible action to take. The safety of our customers, employees and artists has always and continues to be our number one priority.

For the last year we’ve been working so hard on this show to make it even bigger, better and more spectacular than before. However, we will harness that energy and motivation to continue working tirelessly and return in 2021 with a new increible production.

We know that all our elrow fans and family had been waiting for elrow Town London and the chance to dance amongst the craziness once again. The response we’ve received and the unconditional support has been immense. We were so ready to give all this back through the epic show we had put together, especially at a time when people need it the most. However, we shall have to wait until next year to be reunited in music, love and dancing.

Rowgelia, our mayor, will be very glad to welcome you all on 21st of August 2021 in Trent Park for an unforgettable fun festival experience!

With love 🖤
elrow family
