Just after the track starts off a heavy bass kicks in and electrifying snare sounds start spinning around. Melodic and transcending notes come in, revealing a softer side of the production. “The Hierophant for me is a track that was influenced by the 80s vibe and growing up in that era. I especially wanted to write something in major key and I was experimenting with slightly out of tune instruments. I think those pads and the main synth give this track its very recognisable feel” says Eelke.

Released today, Hamburg electronic artist and the figure-head behind one of Ibiza’s widely popular event series, Magdalena, unveils her new remix of Brlee’s ‘Visions’.
Arguably one of the Slovenian artist’s most renowned tracks, ‘Visions‘ was originally released in 2016 as part of the ‘Visions / Reality‘ EP project. Amassing support from both key industry figures and artists alike, ‘Visions‘ is also the title track from Brlee’s anticipated upcoming album – set for release in June.
Much like many industry peers, the original track has regularly found its way into Magdalena‘s sets time and time again. After a short exchange between both artists, Magdalena‘s own take on ‘Visions‘ was put into motion, transforming the track into a hypnotic remix, more than fitting for dimly-lit clubs, festival stages and dusky-Ibizan sunsets.

Audio Obscura is back with something very special: a brand-new sunset stream series in collaboration with The Netherland’s main cinema chain Pathé.
The ‘Revere Series’ of Audio Obscura will not only be seen online but also on the big screen in The Netherlands! Music lovers can finally enjoy the performances of their favorite artists together again.
This unique experience will start in Pathé on Thursday June 11 and a brand new stream will premiere in theaters every Thursday. The streams will first be shown exclusively for a week in various cinemas across The Netherlands, and will then go online on Audio Obscura‘s channels. Everything entirely in accordance with the guidelines of the Dutch Institute for Health and Environment (RIVM), as 30 people per viewing may take place at a distance of 1.5 meters. Visitors are free to dance a little in their own seats.

“We are always looking for unique content for our cinemas. With Audio Obscura, music lovers can enjoy performances of their favorite DJs on the big screen in a safe setting exclusively at Pathé. We hope to appeal to visitors who are currently unable to attend a festival or party. This way we are able to offer them a unique experience of their favorite artists.”
Audio Obscura: “Once we heard from June 1st onwards cinemas were able to open up again, the idea came up to show our streams in cinemas. As soon as we were in touch with Pathé they, fortunately, loved the idea. Teaming up with a common goal created a perfect environment to set this up together. We are happy to create an opportunity for fans to come together again and watch our cutting-edge music streams on a big screen with proper sound.”
Together with Audio Obscura‘s partner Nomobo, the streams are recorded at iconic and historic locations throughout The Netherlands and will showcase the beauty of the country. Various artists will perform at Forteiland Pampus, de Euromast, and the Scheepvaartmuseum.
The first stream will be done by none other than Joris Voorn at UNESCO world heritage location: Kinderdijk. Later on, Eelke Kleijn, Job Jobse, KI/KI, Carista, Detroit Swindle, Patrice Bäumel, and indie band MY BABY will give a sensational performance. New locations and artists will be revealed during the summer.
In line with Audio Obscura‘s previous live stream series this year, viewers can donate to charities. This time the charities vary from healthcare to initiatives for the music industry.

Guetta‘s performance will be at New York City’s most iconic location, to be revealed during his set. United From Home will begin after New York’s “daily clap” for frontline and healthcare workers at 7:00 pm (EST), and can be viewed live on social media through the DJ’s Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, VK and TikTok channels or global fans are invited to join via online rooms.
The stream will feature guest appearances from City First Responders along with other special surprise guests. New Yorkers are encouraged to join David Guetta‘s global audience and watch this performance safely from home. Moreover, the set can only be enjoyed online; it will not be amplified.

● Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization;
● Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris – Hôpitaux de France, whose mission is to improve the conditions of healthcare works and patients in hospitals across France; and
● The World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, which is ensuring frontline workers are equipped with essential protective wear, patients are receiving proper care, and efforts to develop vaccines, tests, and treatments are accelerated.
On April 18th, David Guetta lit up the blue-turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay of Downtown Miami, playing for 8000 thousand locals who danced on from their balconies. In front of a 205-feet pool at the Icon Brickell in Downtown Miami, the iconic French artist played a 1.5 hours set packed with feel-good music which has now been viewed more than 25 million times (watch, here) and has raised over $750,000 USD including a $300,000 USD personal contribution from the DJ.
