Rounding off a monster week of singles and an incredible live show at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Tiesto unveils his latest EP, ‘I Like It Loud’. Featuring collaborations with artists from the talent collective at Tiësto’s label, Musical Freedom, I Like It Loud is an explosive body of work, brimming with festival bangers.

First up is the title track, ‘I Like It Loud’, a thrilling re-work of the 1997 definitive track by Marshal Masters feat. The Ultimate MC. Collaborating with fellow Dutch producer/DJ John Christian, Tiësto reimagines the classic track bringing a whole new dimension, perfect for the club big rooms.

‘Dawnbreaker’ by Tiësto & Russian duo Matisse & Sadko is an epic house track with a progressive build and beats to stomp to and see the dawn in with. Penultimate track ‘Coming Home’ sees Mesto join forces with Tiësto on this masterful dance hit, which has summer written all over it.

Bringing the EP to a stunning close is Tiësto’s track with MOTi, ‘Break The House Down’. Having previously collaborated together on their remix of Lean On, as well as Blow Your Mind and House of Now, Tiësto and MOTi have now created an even bigger beast with this track, complete with samples of ethereal choral chanting.

No doubt, this pioneering EP featuring some of the most exciting headliners out there sets the pace for this summer’s festivals – and the rest of the year.

ARTY spices up Armada Music’s 15-year anniversary celebrations with ‘Rain’

ARTY

Hot on the heels of dropping masterstroke single ‘Sunrise’ (feat. April Bender) to add considerable weight to his Armada Music comeback, Russian star ARTY immediately hits again with another shot of his trademark sound for the Amsterdam-based record label’s 15-year anniversary celebrations.

Bearing the 15th anniversary stamp, ‘Rain’ emerges as both a solid offering and a telling precursor for the trove of phenomenal cuts ARTY intends to unleash throughout this year and the next.

Mesmeric and beautiful like a gentle drizzle on a warm spring day, ‘Rain’ offers a downpour of emotion no dance music fan can resist. Embellished by tiny synth drops and cascading melodies, this cut invigorates parties and nightlife scenes all over the world and will prove a fan favorite in no time.

ARTY: “Rain is my favorite weather by far, and I’ve always wanted to express my love for rain in a song. With ‘Rain’, I set out to describe the feeling of sadness and melancholy as well as the uplifting emotions that rain always brings me. It has less vocals and a bigger club vibe compared to its predecessor ‘Sunrise’, so people can enjoy the instruments surrounding the upbeat production.”

Fan gets a tattoo after betting on Swedish House Mafia reunion at ULTRA!

swedish house mafia new

House music supergroup Swedish House Mafia ended their five-year hiatus this past Sunday with their incredible performance at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Rumors had swirled for months before the event regarding their return and several humorous bets were placed on the matter, including one made by twitter user @aaron_frame21.

Aaron, clearly a die-hard Swedish House Mafia fan, declared he would get a tattoo of the trio’s logo on himself if they did end up reuniting at Ultra’s 20th anniversary.

Soon after concluding the live stream of the event, Aaron headed over to his local tattoo shop for his ink. Check out his twitter post and photos below:

Alan Walker played awkward Spotify Ad during his ULTRA Live set! [VIDEO]

Apparently there was something else that happened at Ultra Music Festival in Miami this past weekend, and it was the Swedish House Mafia reunion.

During his 5pm set, Norwegian EDM DJ and producer Alan Walker had a surprising twist on his mix. About half way through his set, a Spotify ad randomly starts playing. A lot of people are saying it was an awkward troll, but after watching the video it didn’t seem to be that bad. He transitioned out of it pretty well as if it was something he had planned to do.

On the other hand, if it was actually a mistake and he failed to cut the song, well then that’s embarrassing. Either way, he’s releasing new music with Steve Aoki and his set had the crowd jumping.

Check out the video at 6:00 mark of his set and comment your thoughts below!

Is ULTRA teasing another Swedish House Mafia appearance this summer

Swedish House Mafia

The Swedish House Mafia train is not over yet my friends as we may be seeing them perform again at Ultra Europe in Croatia this July. Ultra released a post on their instagram profile, stating “Expect the unexpected when @steveangello takes the stage at Ultra Europe this summer!

The cheesy line has become a calling card for Swedish House Mafia recently and it would only make sense for them to keep performing worldwide. We already have a strong linkling that we have not seen the last of the legendary EDM trio together.

Ultra secured a similar deal when they had Deadmau5 headlining many of their summer events back in 2016. It would only make sense that the Swedish super group makes an Ultra tour and spreads the nostalgia.

Sebastian Davidson maps magical journey with debut album ‘Atlas of Adventures’

Sebastian Davidson

Whenever you decide upon taking a road trip, holiday or just all-around journey through life as a whole, what matters isn’t where you start and stop. The beauty of the experience is found in the in-between, in the breathtaking moments that you’d miss out on if you were to just hop from A to B and take shortcuts.

Applying that very same notion to his music, Sebastian Davidson took his time to capture the essence of such a journey and somehow managed to fuse it with his unmistakably magical signature sound. The result is a stellar debut album that puts his peerless production skill and shimmering soundscapes fully on the map: ‘Atlas Of Adventures’.

‘Atlas Of Adventures’ sees Dutch producer Sebastian Davidson offer music fans the chance to explore the sonic panoramas and impeccable views of a kaleidoscopic body of work.

A spark of uncharted brilliance many a listener could lose himself in for all eternity, the album inspires and enchants through twelve tales of inconceivable beauty and mesmerism, including wondrous excursions such as ‘Father, Mother, Brother’, ‘Alpenglow’ and ‘Klapp’ (with Claes Rosen).

The mirror image of a world untainted and untarnished, ‘Atlas Of Adventures’ shows that A and B are mere stepping stones to the greater picture. And that picture, that canvas of brilliant colors and irresistible songs, truly is dazzling.

Here’s what Sebastian Davidson had to say about his debut album:

“Over the past year, I have been pouring myself into this album, drawing inspiration from my love for peaceful and untouched landscapes to discover my own sound. it has been the most rewarding, musically personal work I have ever done.

It’s a new chapter that started out with ‘Alpenglow’ and ‘Father, Mother, Being’ being test songs to see if I could express my ideas. Both songs helped me a lot in defining the direction of my album and I dare say it’s everything I wanted it to be.”

Steve Angello’s Manager Says “This Is Just The Beginning” After SHM Reunion

Over the weekend, the whole world witnessed something that many of us thought would never happen. The Swedish trio of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso took the stage together for the first time in years as the Swedish House Mafia rocked Ultra Music Festival 2018.

When the trio came together and hugged it out on stage, it was almost like the whole world stopped. Time had slowed down and we were all taken back to a simpler time. There was only one thing that was still in question, and that was if it was just a one night thing or if the trio would actually go on tour and/or produce new music.

Well known celebrity agent and manager Scooter Braun may have helped us solve the mystery. During their set, he posted on his Instagram story, “The Beginning” while the Swedish trio hugged it out on stage.

Being that Scooter is also Steve Angello’s manager, let’s just say he probably knows more than we do. Let’s just all hope for the best and believe that there is a Swedish House Mafia tour in the works!

Check out the picture of a thousand words below!

Stay tuned and check back for future Swedish House Mafia details!
