Bedouin drops Temple Of Dreams (Remixes Part 4) including Harry Romero & Anja Schneider

Part four of Bedouin’s superb ‘Temple Of Dreams’ remix package features new interpretations from Harry Romero and Anja Schneider.

Temple of Dreams’ was, of course, Bedouin’s long-awaited debut album and one full of top-tier musicians and collaborators. It came in early summer amidst the kick off of their 2023 Saga residency at Pacha Ibiza, showcasing the breadth and depth of their ubiquitous house sound. This fourth volume of remixes once again welcomes some standout names to add their own unique spin.

First up is Harry Romero, a long-time house legend with a famously steamy and chunky house sound that has kept him at the heart of the global conversation for many years. His take on ‘Flore Chico‘ feat. Chico Castillo is powered by vast kick drums and lush chords. The lush organic percussion and gravelly vocals take on a magical vibe as the synths melt the soul.

Next up is Berlin powerhouse Anja Schneider, a core part of the underground scene for many years and head of the tastemaking Sous Music label. Here she takes things into sparser territories, turning ‘Fortune Teller‘ into a spine-tingling minimal cut with lithe piano chords draped over wavy drums and warm percussion. It’s a punchy, yet supple late-night groove.

This is another essential pair of remixes that add a fresh perspective to the Bedouin originals, ‘Temple of Dreams (Remixes Part 4) (incl. Harry Romero, Anja Schneider)’ drops via Human By Default on 24th November 2023.

NGHTMRE & Rezz Release Anticipated Single ‘All Night’ Ft. DeathbyRomy

NGHTMRE

Electronic innovators NGHTMRE and Rezz release their highly-anticipated collaboration ‘All Night’ featuring dark-pop vocalist DeathbyRomy out now via Gud Vibrations & HypnoVizion.

A wayward original that complements each of their signature styles while testing the boundaries of their collaborative spirits, ‘All Night‘ serpentines through haunting builds and riveting mid-tempo drops.

Encapsulating the energy of a psychological thriller, DeathbyRomy‘s hypnotizing vocals tell a dark and disorienting tale amidst meddlesome melodies and distorted basslines. Riddled with twisted tones and eerie lyricism, ‘All Night‘ will leave listeners with goosebumps.

NGHTMRE & Rezz ft. DeathbyRomy – All Night

Here’s what NGHTMRE had to say about the release:

“I originally started writing this idea as a part of the DRMVRSE live show. I don’t often make mid-tempo style dance tunes but I was really inspired by Rezz’s style and felt it created a really unique switch-up for the audience during the show. The first drop went over so well in my sets, I felt I had to release it.

I eventually got the incredible vocal idea from Romy and sent the rough idea to Rezz as a collab idea. She loved it and immediately took the track to another level with the second drop and finalized the arrangement. Together, we dialed in all the final details and everything came together perfectly in the end. So stoked to share this one with the world!”

Speaking about the track Rezz said:

“NGHTMRE sent over the early demo of this track and I immediately was intrigued. I hopped on it ASAP and we finished the track together. Romy snapped on the vocals and I think this is a really awesome song.”

DeathbyRomy added:

“When I was writing ‘All Night’, I was painting the fever dream that is “the nightclub”. The tripped out feeling of making eye contact with yourself in the mirror when you drop the masked smile and realize you’re too drunk.

The glimmer of the night suddenly shattered and all the noise and lights becoming too much. The DJs suddenly playing something equally familiar and terrifying, and you think you’re gonna be sick. This song is just a peek into one of the strange trips/nightmares many of us have found ourselves in, but ‘All Night’ is sexy and terrifying all at once.”

Agoria releases his brand new track, “Teardrops (Don’t Stop The Music)”

French electronic music producer, multi-disciplinary composer, and DJ, Agoria, announces the first single taken from his forthcoming studio album set for release in spring 2024 on his own Sapiens label.

Nearing a new complete body of work, Agoria demonstrates his visionary qualities as a respected electronic music producer and celebrated touring artist with a unique perspective on melody. With a desire to explore the true malleability of his club-orientated sound “Teardrops (Don’t Stop The Music)” is rich in Agoria‘s hallmark anthemic modern composition that builds intuitively with earnest textures and thoughtful drama.

A powerfully meticulous musical track led by textural pianos and powerful vocals of Noemie, Agoria exhibits a producer with a unique perspective on melody, and as both a touring DJ and composer his works have an innate ability to holistically talk to the heart and the dancefloor.

As a prominent global figure in techno and bold ambassador for France’s inherit attitude towards experimentation, Sébastien Devaud‘s genre of electronic motifs and displays of virtuosity can be often hard to clarify, as can his irrepressible career and the wealth of creativity that has seen Agoria pursue interests within contemporary art, fashion, AI and poetry.

An artist well-regarded for his recorded repertoire, Agoria has, to date, made five albums entitled “Blossom” (2003), “The Green Armchair” (2006), “Impermanence” (2011), “Drift” (2019) and “Dev” (2021), as well as the soundtrack to the movie “Go Fast” (2008).

With a sound so identifiable, simple and evocative, Agoria‘s new music uncovers new emotional and visceral depth of an artist, his open-hearted piano melodies, and traditional piano-driven minimalism finding its way to the edges of dance music.

A proud portrait of a patient musician with impressive artistic growth and a thoughtful blueprint for what the upcoming album will offer.

Flux Pavilion reclaims his dubstep roots with new EP Fluxiverse

Flux Pavilion

Circus Records co-founder and dubstep pioneer Flux Pavilion has been on a journey like no other. Through the bass music galaxy he’s traveled, finally reaching the Fluxiverse!

Fluxiverse’ pays homage to the roots of electronic music while catapulting listeners into the future of bass-heavy sounds. A love letter to rave and the bangers that rule the dancefloor, from his studio in North London he’s captured that center-of-the-crowd feeling that made us all fall in love with it.

Bringing a host of friends along for the ride, label co-founder Doctor P joins Flux Pavilion on floor-shaking banger ‘24/7’, UK rap legend PAV4N co-hosts the hard-as-steel ‘Heavy Metal’, with turbo house producer LINK and Terror Jr’s Lisa Vitale on board for the achingly beautiful ‘The Ones You Loved’. The thundering but stripped-back ‘Where You At’ with Circus Records label legend Conrank also appears, pushing the envelope while hitting like a track, and recent smash ‘Paradise’ adds some extra bittersweet sparkle.

Flux Pavilion – Fluxiverse

The EP draws to a close with a bigger moment than anyone could imagine. Taking the rousing melody of Samuel Barber’s ‘Adagio for Strings’ – turned into a timeless trance classic in the 90s by William Orbit and Tiësto – and updating it for a new era and a new generation with his ‘Adagio for Bass’

On the release of the EP, Flux Pavilion shares; “It’s a long time since I’ve done an EP, but especially one that’s so rave banger focused. I think dubstep is like an open book. It can be so many things, but I think at its core to me, it’s always been rave music. I think it speaks its clearest on the dance floor and on a massive system, so I’ve really been zoning in on that aspect and just bringing the energy and making bangers.”
