Sam Feldt teams up with Sigma and Gia Koka on joyous ‘2 Hearts’

sam feldt burak yeter
Sam Feldt

With ‘Post Malone’ proving a huge hit with over 240 million streams to date and being cetified gold in the US and UK, Sam Feldt is on a real roll.

He keeps the momentum going with what promises to be yet another global smash on new feel-good anthem ‘2 Hearts’.

The track sees him team up with UK duo Sigma, the force behind massive tracks like ‘Nobody To Love’ and collaborations with superstars like Take That and Rita Ora. Their anthem-crafting skills are perfectly complemented by the sweet sounds of singer-songwriter Gia Koka. She is the writer behind many big tracks including the global hit ‘Crazy’ by Lost Frequencies & Zonderling, and her contribution here is formidable once again.

From the very first second, you know you’re in Sam Feldt territory as the horns ring out a triumphant tune. The scene suddenly cuts to Gia Koka’s dulcet tones telling a tale of love. Tropical drum fills add flavour as the track swells, with the chorus leading way to those horns in all their glory. Overall the effect is a classic Feldt sound flavoured with some Latin energy. It’s another surefire hit.

Released right at the start of 2020, it’s the most perfectly positive track to get your new year rolling.

PLS&TY unveils dynamic remix package for latest single “Summer’s Young”

Future bass DJ and producer PLS&TY has dropped an explosive five-track remix package for his most recent single “Summer’s Young”, featuring the vocals of singer-songwriter Dia Frampton.

Swedish electronic DJ and producer Cazzette opens proceedings with a highly danceable remix, fit with steady kick drum and measured drop. Next up, British multi-instrumentalist Daktyl elegantly marries electronic elements and organic instrumentation on his bass-heavy interpretation, before Miami-based artist Kill Paris ups the ante with a masterful electro-house/trap reimagining.

Ownglow then delivers an energetic drum and bass vibe that elevates Frampton‘s soulful vocals, before the record is closed out by experimental bass producer Shadient, whose maximalist production turns “Summer’s Young” into a full-on stomper.

Speaking on the remixes, PLS&TY states:

“I am tremendously honored to release this new remix pack featuring Cazzette, Kill Paris, Daktyl, Shadient, & Ownglow. I have been a fan of each artist for their signature styled productions, and I could not be more excited to showcase their reworkings of the original.

Cazzette brings his signature house sounds, Kill Paris, his electro glitch-hop vibe, Daktyl, a mellow downtempo flip, Shadient, well listen for yourself, & Ownglow, a liquid drum and bass groove. Check them out now!”

The release tops a career-defining year for the burgeoning producer, who dropped his lauded two-track EP Run Wild / Feeling Forever back in August, along with an accompanying eight-minute short film. A subsequent remix package featured reworks from Bondax, YehMe2, Luca Lush, Ducky, and more.

Chus & Ceballos’ “All I Want” revives to celebrate Stereo’s 20th anniversary

Oscar L, Dee Montero and David Morales have signed a new round of remixes of what is one of Nómadas’ most iconic tracks, from Chus & Ceballos’ album released back in 2015.

We’re going back in time to 2015 to place ourselves during the release of “All I Want” feat Astrid Suryanto‘. A track that was Nómadas’ fourth single, Chus & Ceballos‘ first album after more than 15 years of producing. An LP that was born under the inspiration for their performance at Burning Man and that resulted in an outstanding project.

Now, for Stereo‘s 20th anniversary, it’s time that “All I Want” lives a second golden age with a new load of remixes. Back then it was Technasia, Henry Saiz & Marc Marzenit and Fernando Campos that were on remix duties remixes. Now it’s Oscar L, Dee Montero and David Morales who will be taking over those duties.

“All I Want” Remixes

If the original track was characterized by an organic and ethereal rhythm, Oscar L takes it to more earthly lands where the vocals transfer the prominence to the percussion. That added to the synthetic hints results in a strong and quick track.

Dee Montero gives to the track his characteristic sparkle right from the start with a new deep nature. Sharper than the original, the track still has persistence. David Morales, on his side, gives us two reinterpretations. The first one a Red Zone Dub in science fiction code. A track in which the prominence is the percussion resulting in the almost total disappearance of vocals. And the second one a Diridimi in which the vocals get their presence back, but at the same time the percussion is lightened with the introduction of more air.

This “All I Want” ‘s new round of remixes is available on Stereo from 2nd of January.
