Electronic dance music DJ and producer, Marshmello, appeared on the talk show with Anne-Marie to showcase their latest collaboration “Friends”. The show went smoothly and the audience was extremely satisfied with the performance. But of course, there always has to be a hater in the crowd trying to steal Marshmello’s shine.

“So I watch @marshmellomusic on @jimmyfallon last night and realized as a DJ his controllers weren’t even plugged into power!!!” one dude tweeted. “Seems to be missing every cable you would need to make audio work…”

But if you take a really good look it is perfectly clear that Marshmello was plugged in just as usual.
“You must have eye problems,” another Twitter fan chimed in. “I can see the cords coming from the backs of the equipment just fine, and running across the stage… get a grip man, stop trying to ridicule a good performance.”

The change of words was enough to get Marshmello upset and reply “U really think I’d go on tv with an mpg and keyboard that aren’t plugged in or working?”

Keep the haters far and shine away Mello!

Warning: Highly Toxic drug being disguised as Ecstasy hits the streets!

ecstasy

We all know some people that like to party a little too hard at dance music festivals, and who could blame them? But after reading the reports coming out of New Zealand, you might want to think twice before consuming an untested substance.

According to Wellington Police, five people have been arrested after a sting operation seized over 6 kilograms of a highly toxic drug being sold on the streets. The new drug is being called N-ethlypentylone and is said to be far more dangerous than Ecstasy. Within the past few months, numerous hospitalizations have been documented of people who had thought they were consuming MDMA, but really it was N.

Doctor Wendy Allison, the director of the free drug testing service ‘Know Your Stuff’ says many people believe they’re taking ecstasy but are actually taking something far more dangerous. It’s crazy to believe that people are basically selling poison and calling it MDMA.. This is what Ms. Allison had to say about it:

“In our testing this season approximately 25 percent of substances brought us as MDMA have turned out not to be, and of those the majority have been n-ethylpentylone.”

“It makes economic sense in a market that encourages people to misrepresent drugs for them to buy a cheaper drug, sell it as a more expensive drug,” Ms Allison says.

“Having has too much leads to increased heart rate, increased body temperature, increased blood pressure, anxiety, paranoia, agitation, inability to sleep.”

“I was surprised at the amount because if you do the maths on that, that’s over 90,000 doses, and if it’s being sold as MDMA it’s still over 30,000 doses – that is a lot of this stuff.”

Testing kits have always been the smart move. This is just another example to back that up that logic. Consuming untested substances is like playing Russian roulette, you’ll never know until it’s too late.. Party safe people.

Officials concerned ULTRA is in a similar place of the Las Vegas mass shooting

Ultra Miami 2016, img via alivecoverage.com

In light of the tragic shooting that occurred months ago at the Las Vegas Route 91 Harvest Music Festival, ULTRA music festival organizers and the Miami police force are now expanding their security plan for the annual downtown event.

As reported by the ‘Miami Herald’, the new security measures include “putting more eyes” on the adjacent Biscayne Boulevard buildings, and the placement of snipers in locations overlooking the park. This would allow for better access for potential shooters to be seen.

Marine patrol will also be guarding the park’s eastern edge, and these units will scan the area before the three-day festival begins on March 23rd. Ultra is expected to draw at least 50,000 festival-goers per day.

Miami mayor Francis Suarez stated the following on the increase in security:

“The department sees what’s going on in other parts of the world and adapts. You have to adapt your tactics to protect the residents.”

The majority of the new security measures plan to target risks outside and above the festival area. A group of plainclothes officers have been scheduled to check on the buildings along the boulevard, and more than 300 officers total will be assisting to help patrol the event.

Police chief Jorge Colina commented, “We’re constantly seeing what happens around the country and the world. If you can predict something, you can prevent it,” He then added, “We want people to go to the event and have a good time, not scare them.”

Nightclub Loses Business License After VIDEO Shows Horse Inside Club!

nightclub horse

We all know some pretty crazy things happen inside nightclubs, but the recent videos from Miami’s Mokai Lounge are disgusting.

In the video below, you see a woman attempt to ride a white horse through a crowded Miami nightclub, and it ends terribly. It’s very clear that the horse was not happy and neither were the party-goers who witnessed the madness. The spooked horse almost immediately bucks the women off and the videos have gone viral.

This past friday, Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber held a press conference regarding the events that took place at the ‘Mokai Lounge’ and had this to say about it:

“This morning we heard about and saw an extremely troubling video of what can only be described as insane stupidity and irresponsibility”

The whole thing isn’t only stupid but it’s also straight up animal abuse. The poor horse looks terrified and we’re lucky no one was seriously injured. A full investigation has been launched and Mokai Lounge has since lost it’s business license. According to Police, this isn’t the first time something like this has occurred at the nightclub.

Krewella forced to upload new video because of Deadmau5 [VIDEO]

Krewella, the sister EDM duo from Illinois, has continued to be at the forefront of women empowerment. With all the sass and appropriate attitude they displayed in the music video for their latest single, Bitch of the Year, we couldn’t imagine a release date more perfect than the one they chose, International Women’s Day.

The sisters really showcased the rap talent they possess in their newest song and easily voiced their message of women independence by “switching up the f****** gear, up in your f***** ear, screaming it loud and clear”

Although, their message was delivered loud and clear, not everyone interpreted the new hit in a positive way. Canadian house DJ and producer, Deadmau5 took offense when he realized they had a picture of him in the video, when Jahan is rapping, “I don’t need your cosign”.

Deadmau5 has since threatened legal action, as well as talking about the lack of talent and over use of autotune Krewella displayed in their new release. The latest version of the video has been edited, removing the iconic DJ Deadmau5

Normally, EDM DJ and producer, Steve Aoki is the one throwing a cake at his shows. In fact, adoring fans usually fight to be the one who gets caked by the DJ. But when actor Vin Diesel is in the house, things get “Fast and Furious” and out of hand quickly.

Steve Aoki‘s Kolony Tour stopped at The Shrine in L.A. Friday night and a ton of celebrities were in the house, including Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom MorelloJeremy Scott, his sister Devon Aoki and Desiigner, who opened for the DJ.

‘The Fast and the Furious’ actor was also there and he was tasked with caking a member of the audience. Instead, however, he stabbed Steve Aoki in the back, or caked him in the face to be more specific.

“I WANNA CAKE SOMEONE TONIGHT!” Vin Diesel screams just before he launches the potentially the most epic two-handed cake throw ever known to man.

The video is priceless. You will absolutely love watching the documented moment. Check out the video below!
