Diplo responds to Katy Perry’s statement that he was the worst lover out of her last 3 boyfriends

On a normal day, you usually don’t have to worry about waking up with your sex skills being ranked on a national live stream by a previous lover.

Well… apparently Diplo does.

Katy has been doing a full out four day live stream to help promote her new album ‘Witness’ in hopes to allow her fans to truly witness who she really is. Alongside her she brought late night host James Corden to play what she calls it, ‘truth or disgusting food’.

After all the boring questions were asked, they moved to a more fun topic including her three most recent lovers and how they ranked in bed. Everyone knows she dated Orlando Bloom and John Mayer, with Diplo being on that list as well. Unfortunately for Diplo, she ranked him third on that list.

Who knows how long her entire list of lovers is, but on the flip side placing third on that long list doesn’t seem to shabby.

Forbes has once again published their annual ‘The World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities List’. Over the past 12 months, the world’s 100 highest-paid celebrities pulled in $5.15 billion more than the combined GDP of Belize, Liberia and Gambia.

Topped by Sean Combs aka Diddy and Beyonce, this list also features a wide range of musicians from other genres, and even a few Electronic Dance Music DJs and producers as well.

The first EDM name on the list is, no surprise, the Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris,  ($48.5 million), followed by the Dutch legend, Tiesto ($39 million) and the American duo The Chainsmokers ($38 million).

Drugs found on these 2 guys at Bonnaroo Festival makes Heisenberg looks small time

Two drug dealers caught with drugs worth more than $30,000 at Bonnaroo Festival 2017.

Law enforcement in Middle Tennessee arrested two guys at Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, Tennessee over the weekend, with more than $30,000 worth of marijuana, molly, mushrooms, ecstasy and ketamine.

According to a report from the Tennessean, the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department were tipped off by campers at a campsite in the festival. Inside the vehicle, according to the warrant, deputies found

The street value of the drugs is valued at more than $30,000, authorities said. Daniel W. Loper and Ryan Alpeus Wiggins were arrested and charged with two counts each of manufacturing, delivering, selling and possession of controlled substances.

Both men were being held at the Coffee County Jail on $100,000 bond each and are slated to appear in court on the charges on Aug. 11.

The arrests come after another out-of-the-ordinary arrest at Bonnaroo, when a man was caught selling over 1000 fake drugs, saying he was “doing God’s work.”

The video for ‘More Than You Know’ was directed by Nicolas Caeyers, and follows a girl through the day into the night as she parties with friends and goes to see the Swedish duo play live – featuring footage of their recent acclaimed headline set at London’s 15,000-capacity event Steel Yard.

‘More Than You Know‘ is the current single from Axwell^Ingrosso‘s debut ‘More Than You Know’ EP, which is out now on Virgin EMI Records. Don Diablo condemns ULTRA through video and announces he’ll no longer play at all ULTRA events

Don Pepijn Schipper, better known as Don Diablo, along with his tour manager and production manager, explained that they had made a decision that he will not be performing at Ultra events in the near future.

After 4 years of rather regular performances at Ultra Music Festivals worldwide, the Dutch EDM DJ has announced he’s terminated his relationship with the event brand and canceled all previously-scheduled appearances.

This was announced through a Facebook video after his delayed appearance at Ultra Singapore 2017. Don Diablo and his producer tells how his set was shortened due to flight complications, for which he was already sorry, but when he finally landed in Singapore, he found a series of texts from the Ultra team he said left him “massively disrespected.”

Don Diablo still performed, but he declared in the video below that he would no longer be able to play at any Ultra Music Festival events.

Axwell^Ingrosso canceled festival performance after car break-in and theft [Detalis Here]

For weeks now we’ve been patiently waiting for Chicago’s Spring Awakening festival and it’s finally here. The 2017 addition has a lineup stacked with talent, but there will be one major change.

As you may already know, the Swedish super duo Axwell^Ingrosso were scheduled to perform at the Solstice Stage this evening, as well as an official SAMF after party at Prysm, but unfortunatelly that ain’t gonna happen.

Ingrosso‘s car was vandalized, and his laptop and passport were stolen, making travel to the United States, with the necessary, legal work permit impossible at this moment.

Ticket holders for Axwell^Ingrosso afterparty at Prysm will be automatically refunded, but if they want to, they can attend Yellow Claw ‘s performance at the after party who have been tapped as the official replacement.

Gramatik & Eric Krasno Release Music Video for “RECOVERY”

Earlier this month, fans of Gramatik and Eric Krasno were treated to a surprise collaboration from the pair on new single “Recovery.”

Shot and edited by Andro Kajzer, the visual counterpart of “Recovery” brings to life the tracks sun-kissed, feel-good aura with the use of balmy beach side imagery. Appropriately feeding into the ethos of the track, “Recovery” came to life after Gramatik sustained a leg injury the required him to take a break from the road.

This time off the road allowed Gramatik to return his focus on writing, testing new ideas, and producing a host of new music. For “Recovery,” the release has a more traditional arrangement than what we are generally used to in electronic dance music, so Gramatik made sure the tone of this one is set right from the get go.

The track opens with a blissful, 50’s musical instrumentation, and then jumps right into the first verse with no long build-ups. Krasno was responsible for the straight-to-the-point lyrics that don’t hide behind unnecessary metaphors, and he also provided the vocals as well as his signature guitar playing.

As for how the track came to be, Gramatik simply states “Kraz and I are in Recovery from Torture.” According to Krasno, “Recovery” began as a part of his larger concept album until Gramatik got an ear on it:

“Recovery” is a track I initially wrote as part of a concept album I’ve been working on (coming early 2018). Gramatik heard it and instantly wanted to work on it. He had been through an intense leg injury and really related to the hook of the song. He then flipped it on its head in the best way possible…. I love working with him; his tracks always feel and sound amazing. We have also have a few more tracks in the works.”

With an epic year behind him, Gramatik is now ready to start the next chapter, and 2017 promises to be just as wild. Last year, he impressed fans and critics alike with the new album, Epigram and its subsequent remix EP featuring a number of Gramatik’s favorite producers.  To kick off 2017, Gramatik released a new collaboration with GRiZ, titled “As We Proceed” that has clocked in over a million plays on Soundcloud since its January release. Gramatik has now continued that momentum thanks to his team up with Krasno on “Recovery.”

As for what’s next, it’s yet to be known what will become of the many tracks Gramatik created during his time off the road, but stay tuned as those hard-drives are sure to come to light.
