The multi-talented Tavi Castro presents ‘Unity’ – a single with an underlying meaning!

tavi castro

The multi-talented Tavi Castro returns, as the man hailing from Canada & based out of Amsterdam presents ‘Unity’ – a single with an underlying meaning & focused on delivering a message.

Hot off the back of Ghost ft Sarah Kienstra, a cut which fired up global support – Tavi Castro produced ‘Unity‘ for the finale of his Tomorrowland set & shortly after the festival, his daughter was born.

Touched by the closely followed story of an infant Syrian baby losing both parents in a bombing, along with suffering life changing injuries – Tavi decided to focus the single on bringing attention to some of the madness in the world & how children are at times, most affected by it.

Lyrically deep, ‘Unity‘ manages to deliver a sensitive message in an uplifting way, along with featuring many of Tavi’s trademark production elements. Following on from a steady stream of releases – including his debut ‘Survive’ which was signed to the revered Spinnin’ Records in 2016, ‘Unity’ is due for release on his own imprint & Tavi Castro will also pushing the hashtag #whatdidthekidsdo – to continue showing love/support for global events that remain unaddressed & close to his heart.

Stay tuned for ‘Unity‘ to light up clubs, festivals & station airwaves in the weeks ahead. Listen to the track below!

After the peak, the record sends you off with a melancholically sweet good-bye.

Diynamic Music’s „Picture:” series is a document in time, showcasing an artist’s current creative output in order to allow the listener to visualise and understand the artist at a certain moment.

It is not an album format, but far more than merely an EP. “Picture:” is various dancefloor-oriented facettes of one producer, shaping the imagery that ultimately results in the listeners mind.

Robbie Rivera channels his Latin roots on new summer anthem El Loco

Robbie Rivera the promise

House music maestro Robbie Rivera brings his Latino roots to the fore on his feisty new jam El Loco. Looking like a hot contender for a summer smash, and has all the ingredients needed to make it a serious earworm.

El Loco is every bit as crazy as the name would suggest. El 7’s distorted vocal refrain kicks the track off, with an accordian style riff dropping in over a classic reggaeton rhythm. The track kicks off at house tempo but soon slows towards a more fitting tempo to fit with that reggaeton/cumbia feel. El 7’s cool vocal style laces the track with pure energy before the snare builds signal an increase in tempo again.

The build slams us back into a pumping house groove, and the track repeats this track once again in the second half. This constantly shifting energy gives the track a unique vibe and makes it a standout cut in any set, providing a perfect respite from pure 4/4 house tempo vibes. It’s the sound of Latin music both old and new fusing in explosive style.

There’s few labels of importance that Robbie Rivera hasn’t released on in house and dance music. From Armada to Spinnin’, DOORN Records to Black Hole Recordings, Nervous to Axtone and dozens of others, he is one of the most illustrious names in house music.
